Eligibility Criteria for BPSC CCE:
To appear for the Bihar Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC CCE):
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Age Limit:
- General (Male): 20-37 years
- General (Female), OBC, EBC: 20-40 years
- SC/ST (Male & Female): 20-42 years
- Certain relaxations apply for PWDs, ex-servicemen, and other categories.
BPSC Exam Pattern:
1. Preliminary Exam (Objective)
- General Studies (GS) – 150 marks
- Duration: 2 hours
- Qualifying Nature: Marks are not counted in the final merit.
2. Mains Exam (Descriptive)
- General Hindi – 100 marks (Qualifying)
- General Studies Paper 1 – 300 marks
- General Studies Paper 2 – 300 marks
- Optional Subject – 300 marks
- Total Marks: 900 (excluding Hindi)
3. Interview
- Weightage: 120 marks
- Final Merit Calculation: Based on Mains + Interview scores.
